I'm a mid-twenties Web developer based in London, I currently work with companies in the Charity sector (and try my hardest to stay focused on personal coding projects outside of that 😫).
I started this site because I wanted somewhere to test my personal projects, which still holds fairly true! For the projects I stay interested in long enough, I also usually make demos on here to show them off.
Check out my projects to see my project demos and what I've been working on - I also usually write articles about them too if you'd like a more in-depth look at my thought processes.
What I'm up to
as of Jan 1st 2024
- Engineer at an SMS-based Charity giving provider
- Learning C++ by creating my own game engine
- Successfully remembered how my Typescript Enigma Machine actually works, and then forgetting again
- Diving deeper into Laravel
What I use
Software
- This site is hosted on Netlify, and uses the Vue framework Nuxt
- I develop on VSCode, though I want to starting learning vim
- GitHub for version control
Hardware
- Dual widescreen monitors for the home PC - one vertical and one horizontal. I very much recommend a second vertical monitor if you can - it's fantastic for viewing more of the code at once
- HHKB Professional Hybrid - this thing is awesome, after getting used to the keyboard layout I now never want to go back
Luna
This is our cat Luna.
She isn't angry she just always looks like that.
